Bachtrack is a free website founded in 2008 with the goal of encouraging people to attend live performances. It is the world’s largest site for cultural offerings with upwards of 30,000 events listed annually and 130 monthly reviews of events. The website presents an international view of the latest offerings in classical concerts, opera, ballet and dance, masterclasses, competitions, and festivals. It offers links to stream upcoming concert performances and videos of those that have recently occurred. Articles and reviews covering a wide array of cultural events are featured and for those doing any international travelling, major events scheduled for popular cities like Paris, London, Amsterdam, New York, Vienna, Tokyo, Munich, Stockholm, and Prague are made available. Interviews with leading performers are also featured. After registering to receive notifications, one will receive a weekly newsletter via email with information concerning the topics listed above. This is the best site that I have found for staying abreast of the many cultural events worldwide.
