Victoria Samek founded the Clarinet and Saxophone Classics CD label in 1992. This company has issued 93 recordings since that time, much of it devoted to historic artists and their significant recordings. I have benefited from purchasing CD recordings by Reginald Kell, David Weber, Rudy Wiedoeft, Henri Bok, Marcel Mule, Philippe Cuper and The History of the Saxophone and Historical Recordings of The Clarinet.
This label also issues recordings of contemporary performers and composers and publishes works by present-day composers. All the recordings are available as CDs or downloads and the publications are offered in printed and digital formats. However, one of the great benefits of their CDs are the accompanying liner note booklets, replete with detailed information about the music and the performers. And all the historical albums have benefited from excellent digital restoration. This is definitely a website worth investigating for all serious clarinetists and saxophonists.
